Annual Daddy-Daughter dance set for Saturday in Copperas Cove

Fathers and daughters will have the chance to take to the dance floor for an evening of fun and activities at the annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, March 5 from 6-9 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, located at 1206 W. Avenue B.
Semi-formal attire is suggested but not required. Tickets are on sale at the Copperas Cove Parks & Rec offices at 1206 W. Avenue B, and will also be available at the door.
Advance purchase tickets are $20 per couple, $5 per additional daughter and $10 per additional dad. Cash, check or credit/debit card are accepted for advance ticket purchases.
Tickets purchased at the door will be $25 per couple, $5 per additional daughter and $10 per additional dad (cash only).
This event serves as a fundraiser for the Youth Advisory Council, and all proceeds will support the council’s future projects and community events for youth and families, such as Movies in the Park and Breakfast With Santa.
The YAC is made up of youth in the community who apply and are appointed by the Copperas Cove City Council. The Youth Advisory Council defines specific ways to address youth community issues and also develops activities and programs designed and promoted through the City and the Copperas Cove Independent School District. There are 20 member positions, appointed to two-year terms.
