After being closed for nearly two years, the former Arby’s store in Copperas Cove was demolished on Tuesday to make way for another business.
Take 5 Oil Change, with 88 stores in 22 cities across Texas, will be coming to Copperas Cove.
The project, being built by Spinoff Construction, is expected to be completed the first week of September 2021, depending on weather and materials.
The new store will have three drive-through bays along with an office area.
The nearest Take 5 locations are in Killeen, Temple, and Waco.
According to Dale Ross, Senior Account Director with Victory Management Group, each new store creates seven to 10 jobs.
“Take 5 offers a unique stay-in-the-car model, where customers never have to leave the comfort of their vehicles. Car owners can return phone calls, emails, and not have to take children or pets out of the car and wait in a waiting room. This convenient model was particularly attractive to customers during Covid. Our goal is a fast and friendly service that doesn’t disrupt people’s busy day,” said Ross.
Take 5 was recently ranked number 13 in Entrepreneur’s list of the Fastest-Growing Franchises, published in the 2021 March issue of Entrepreneur magazine. Take 5 also recently earned the J.D. Power Award for achieving the highest overall customer satisfaction score among all quick oil change providers evaluated.
In addition to oil changes, Take 5 offers services such as air filter and wiper blade changes and transmission and radiator fluid replacements.
The company has approximately 580 locations across 22 states.
