4th annual Food Truck Festival set for Saturday in Copperas Cove

The 4th annual Copperas Cove Food Truck Festival is set for Saturday at Copperas Cove City Park from 6-10 p.m.
Saturday’s festival will feature 20 food trucks, with the lineup including Shiver Me Shavers, Delectable Delights, Kona Ice, Pizza Pie Ros, Toka Island Grill, Big Dog BBQ, Gringos Locos Tacos, Sailers Food Trailer, Sticky Fingas BBQ, Lowes Legs, Royal Caribbean Restaurant, The Reef, IceLand Flavas, Funnel Cake Fantasies, La Palapa Mexican Grill, Cuatro Tacos, EZ Pig, Hurricane Soul Food, Camo Hippie Chow Hall, and Bougie Vegan AF.
There will also be 24 market vendors, a petting zoo, Black Axe Throwing, plus a free bounce house and a photo booth.
In addition to the food and market vendors, there will be beer and wine tents for Camp Caylor and Iron Gauntlet Brahaus, with Parks & Recreation also selling beverages.
Entertainment will be provided by Baila Pacifica from 7-7:30 p.m., followed by Dysfunkshun Junkshun from 7:45-9:45 p.m.
Admission is $5 per carload and $1 per person for walk-ins.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., food trucks will be competing against each other in best tasting foods competition.
Community judges will each taste samples from each of the trucks, to award a Grand Prize, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up, with each receiving a wooden cutting board prize. As with the 2019 festival, there will be a People’s Choice category.
The Grand Prize winner will also receive $500, with First Runner-up receiving $350 and the Second Runner-up receiving $250.
Parking for the festival will open at 5 p.m., with festival entry opening at 6 p.m.
