The property located at 2124 Business 190 in Copperas Cove, formerly a 7-Eleven, will be the future site of the Little Caesar’s pizza restaurant.
In August 2020, the 9,817.00 square foot property changed hands from 7-11 Southland Corporation to Boeselt Group Properties LLC, according to the Coryell Central Appraisal District website.
A permit for a commercial remodel was issued by the city of Copperas Cove in November 2020 to Sandor Construction, LLC for the renovation of the property, with the Little Caesar’s (owner) listed as an additional contractor.
The 7-Eleven location at the intersection of Business 190 and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard closed back in June 2018 and had been boarded up since then.
The Little Caesar’s location in Copperas Cove is owned and operated as a franchise by Boeselt Enterprises, whose president is Darrell Boeselt. The current location for the Copperas Cove Little Caesar’s is 300 Cove Terrace Shopping Center.
Jennie Snelling with Quine Associates, property manager of Cove Terrace Shopping Center, said she does not have a timeframe for Little Caesar’s move, but she is already in the process of contacting possible replacement tenants.
Little Caesar’s reps had not responded with an anticipated opening date for the new location as of press time Thursday.
