The Copperas Cove Junior High School Bullpup cheerleaders not only have a big bark, but they backed it up with a big bite into the competition recently at National Cheerleader Association Camp to get ready for the new school year. The Bullpups cheer squad won first place in Champion Chant and received ‘Superior’ ribbons during their final evaluation. The members were judged on stunts, pyramids, jumps, motion and dance, and timing. The girls learned several dances in addition to cheers and chants used during football games.
