Sometimes our local police officers just don’t know how to keep their noses out of someone else’s business. Sometimes, doing their job and moving on isn’t good enough for them, it seems. Take the case of Officer Kevin Sheldon. A few weeks ago, Sgt. Julie Lehmann had stopped to speak to a couple holding a sign in a corner of the Walmart parking lot. They were in trouble—out of gas, trying to get to Temple where they could be with their children and get their family back together. Their children been taken away because the couple was living in their truck. You can’t take care of a 1-½ month old and a 1 year old in the heat.
