During the Copperas Cove Public Library Toddler Time Fizz Boom Summer Reading Program, parents and children worked together to complete a variety of reading goals and received many benefits for participating. According to volunteer Valerie Fernandez, children colored in bubbles for reaching goals and were awarded prizes. Fernandez explained that at varying levels toddlers were rewarded trinkets, pinwheels, pop up airplanes and gift cards from local establishments for their efforts. “When they fill all the bubbles they can go to a pizza party,” she said.
