Spring Ho wraps up after week of festivities

Celebrating the springs of the city, the community of Lampasas gathered along the shores of WM Brook Park for the 42nd annual celebration that featureda beauty pageant, fishing derby, talent  show, dance off, pet parade, hayloft party and county fair. Drawing residents who have moved away, the annual festival provides opportunities to reunite old friendships with 2014 seeing the return of students from the Lampasas High School Classes of 2009, .2004, 1999, 1994, 1989 and 1984 reunions gathering for the street dance Saturday night along the courthouse square listening to the sounds of Jason Boland and the stragglers.
