Cove tracksters advance to AAU Nationals

Copperas Cove senior Andrew Leuthner grunts his way to a fourth place finish in the 100m dash during the District 8-5A Track and Field Meet at Midway High School in Waco in April. Leuthner finished fourth in the 100-meter dash at the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Region 19 meet at Judson High School in Converse June 24-29. His time of 11:09 seconds earned him a spot at the AAU Nationals in Des Moines, Ia. in late July.
