Two arrested, two juveniles detained for aggravated robbery

A juvenile male was assaulted and robbed at knifepoint in Copperas Cove City Park on Tuesday after meeting four individuals at a local convenience store and arranging to pay them for a ride home. 
Raquan Jalonte Jones-Lewis and Lance Roberto Stennis were arrested on Tuesday during a traffic stop in the 900 block of West Avenue B around 8:37 p.m., after the vehicle they were traveling in was seen exiting without headlights on from Copperas Cove City Park.
According to a press release issued by the Copperas Cove Police Department, in the course of the traffic stop, the officer noticed the driver and two passengers had blood on them and also noted blood in the backseat of the vehicle. While the officer was talking to the occupants, the department received a report of an armed robbery that had recently occurred at City Park.
The victim stated four subjects assaulted him and held a knife to his throat when he took out his wallet to pay them for giving him a ride home. According to the victim, they noticed he had more money and began assaulting him, then stole his money and his cell phone.
The driver was detained while the adults, Lewis and Stennis, were arrested for aggravated robbery. The fourth suspect, also a juvenile, was later detained at a residence in Copperas Cove.
Sgt. Kevin Miller with the Copperas Cove Police Department said on Wednesday that both Lewis and Stennis were arraigned by Justice of the Peace John Guinn and received $100,000 surety bonds. The two juveniles were transported to the Bell County Juvenile Detention Center.
