Jeremiah Tanor  Morrison

Jeremiah Tanor Morrison, age 41, of Copperas Cove passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Scott’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.

Tanor was born on May 7, 1976, to Joseph H. and Linda Blanton Morrison while they were stationed in Germany. He graduated from Copperas Cove High School in 1995. While in high school, he was active in the theater program and played football for two years.  After high school, he developed a love for auto mechanics. He worked for many years as a mechanic. Tanor was an active member of Northside Baptist Church of Lampasas. In his spare time he could be found somewhere fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, or listening to country music. When he was a teenager, Tanor was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and fought a courageous battle for over 20 years.

Tanor was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Jacob Travis Morrison.

Tanor is survived by his parents, Joseph and Linda Morrison; brothers, Joseph Morrison and wife Pam, Rev. Joshua Morrison and wife Betsy; niece, Jesika Morrison; nephews, Joseph, Joshua, Jordan, Jude, and Johnathan Morrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to his family to offset his final expenses. 

Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
