Two groups in Copperas Cove will remember the fallen who gave their lives in service of the United States of America. On Memorial Day at 10 a.m., members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8577 will gather for their annual ceremony at the Copperas Cove cemetery to pay their respects. All are invited to attend.

Then at 2 p.m., Star Group – Veterans Helping Veterans will hold its annual wreath laying at the group’s headquarters, located at 202 S. 4th St.

Local veterans groups have been invited to join in and present wreaths as well. Lunch will be served immediately following the ceremony at headquarters.
