Five Hills 4-H holds painting fundraiser

Friends and family of the Five Hills 4-H Club got in touch with their creative side on Friday evening, as the club held its first painting night fundraiser at the Copperas Cove Public Library’s meeting room.
For $25, the 19 participants had the chance to create a painting of bluebonnets in a field under the guidance of Brittany Thomas. Thomas works as an instructional coach for Williams-Ledger Elementary School, but is an accomplished painter in addition to being a teacher.
The club also provided snacks and food during the two-hour event.
