Citizens give back to police department in form of meal.

Citizens Police Academy Alumni of Copperas Cove honored Police Officers with a luncheon at the police department Friday. “This is our way of telling the police officers how much we appreciate their hard work and to say thank you,” said alumni member Chuck Holley. The alumni have many ways throughout the year to tell the city employees how much they appreciate their work including the yearly police office of the year ceremony.
