Gallop or Trot 5K needs volunteers, looking at record turnout

The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual H-E-B Plus! Gallop or Trot 5K on Saturday. The event begins at 8 a.m. at the Copperas Cove Civic Center.
Volunteers are welcome and needed by the chamber to assist with Saturday’s race, with a record number of registrants already on the books compared to past years.
“We currently have over 200 registered runners and anticipate a record-attendance for the annual Gallop or Trot race,” said chamber president and CEO, Sean Corrigan.
