Waltroud Augustine “Inez” Tigner

Waltroud Augustine “Inez” Tigner, age 76 of Copperas Cove, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in Copperas Cove.

 

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Copperas Cove.

 

Waltroud was born on April 26, 1940 in Opava, Czechoslovakia to Friedrich and Augustine Ohler. She graduated from high school in Germany, afterwhich she worked for Diamler Benz-Mercedes Corporation. She met William Henry (Hank) Tigner, Jr. Who was stationed in Germany. They later married on November 8, 1963 and raised their four children in Germany and Texas. She worked for many years at Frames and Things in Copperas Cove. She had a great eye for design and decor. She was an amazing artist and loved traveling, nature, collecting gems and jewelry. She also loved and cherished spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Hank Tigner, Jr. In 1992.

 

She is survived by four children, Tanja Garlough of Gainesville, MO, Franklin Tigner of Louisburg, NC, Fredrick Tigner of Copperas Cove, Rhonda Tigner of Leesburg, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
