Candidates draw for order on November ballot

On Thursday, a drawing took place for the ballot order in the office of the city secretary, Mariela Altott.

For place 3, the order of the ballot will be Victor Dery, Dan Yancey, Charles Taylor.

For place 4, the order of the ballot will be Jay Manning, Gary Kent, Clarence Enochs and Terry McDonald. Kent was not present for the drawing, but designated city secretary Mariela Altott to draw a number for him.

For place 5, the order of the ballot will be Kirby Lack, Marc Payne. Payne was not present, and Altott designated Jeff Davis, Human Resources Director, to draw for Payne.

Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins Oct. 24 and runs through Nov. 4.
