Western Insurance donates bag of money to Cove House

Business leaders gathered Thursday at Western Insurance for the monthly Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce mixer. Before the festivities kicked off, Western Insurance president Tom Boren made a quick presentation to Cove House, handing over a bag of money he received from a recent insurance convention he attended.
“During the meeting in Dallas for insurance agents, one of the presentations dealt with real money, $425 to be exact, said Boren. “After the presentation they collected all the money, put it in the bag and held a drawing that I won.”
The money came from Myron Steves, an insurance company that has been serving the Houston area for more than 55 years.
