Copperas Cove High School’s varsity and sub varsity choir teams met in the Lea Ledger Auditorium on Thursday to perform a pre-UIL choir concert. The performance was essentially a dry run of their UIL competition which will take place on April 15 for sub varsity and April 16 for varsity. Daniel Montgomery, Copperas Cove High School’s head choir director, was thrilled with the students’ performance. He was particularly impressed with the varsity men. “The second song for varsity men was a revelation for them,” said Montgomery. “They just killed it. It was in tune and on time. I was so doggone proud!”
