Charles Richard Rosales

Charles “Carlos” Richard Rosales, 78, of Copperas Cove passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016. Graveside Services will be at 11am, April 4, 2016, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

 

Carlos was born on December 3, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Richard and Paulina Rosales. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Government. In 1960 he met Carolyn Brown and they later married on January 1, 1961. They had exactly 55 years together. Carlos retired from the United State Army in 1977 after serving 20 years. He was a station manager for the Red Cross all over the world and retired in 1999 after many years of service.

 

Carlos was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Rosales and a son, Paul Justin Rosales Brown.

 

Carlos is survived by his daughter, Angela Rosales Brown Duncan; son, Doyle Rosales Brown; 9 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and siblings, Luis Rosales and Candi Cruz.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any organization supporting veterans.

 

Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
