City increases net position in FY2013

Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. a firm of licensed independent certified public accountants presented their findings of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report to the members of the City Council during their regular meeting, Tuesday evening. The goal of the independent audit was to provide reasonable assurance that the financial statements of the City of Copperas Cove for the fiscal year that ended September 30, 2013 to be free of material misstatement. The city’s basic financial statements are comprised of three components; government-wide financial statements; fund financial statements and notes to the financial statements.
