Second week of early voting wraps up today

The City of Copperas Cove had a total of 251 voters turn out Monday through Wednesday for early voting in the General and Special Elections for the Copperas Cove City Council.
So far, a grand total of 706 have voted in Copperas Cove during the early voting time period as of Wednesday. Countywide, a total of 1,100 cast their votes as of Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Early voting wraps up today at 5 p.m. at the county annex, located at 201 S. 2nd St.
The polls reopen on for Election Day Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. and will be open until 7 p.m.
Voting locations in Copperas Cove include:
Copperas Cove Civic Center, 1206 W. Ave. B
Holy Family Catholic Church, 1201 Veterans Ave.
Eastside Baptist Church, 1202 MLK Jr. Blvd.
Coryell County Annex, 201 S. 2nd St.
Other voting locations in Coryell County include:
Gatesville Voting Center 801 E. Leon St., Gatesville
Gatesville Civic Center 303 Veterans Memorial Loop, Gatesville
Evant City Hall 598 E Hwy 84, Evant
Flat Community Center 159 CR 334, Flat
Oglesby Community Center 118 Main St., Oglesby
Turnersville Community Center 8115 F.M. 182, Gatesville
Lampasas County voters may vote in the following locations on Tuesday:
Clear Creek Baptist Church, 3350 FM 2657, Kempner
Kempner Fire Dept. Training Ctr. 315 Pecan St., Kempner
Lampasas New Covenant Church, 1604 Central Texas Expressway, Lampasas
Adamsville Community Center 174 CR 3740, Adamsville
Lometa Justice of the Peace Bldg. 104 North 4th St., Lometa
As with the 2014 election, voters need not vote in their precinct, but can vote at any polling location in the county in which they reside.
Voters must also present one of the following forms of identification to vote:
Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS); Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS; Texas personal identification card issued by DPS; Texas concealed handgun license issued by DPS; United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph; United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph; United States passport.
