Boys & Girls Club to hold annual Day for Kids

The Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove will be hosting its 15th annual Day for Kids tomorrow at the Copperas Cove City Park from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event is open to everyone in the community who wants to come out and have a good time. The first 125 children will receive a free t-shirt. The Day for Kids will feature a variety of fun activities and will include a variety of games. The event will feature basketball games, face painting, hair styling, a bounce house, and many other entertaining activities. Hot dogs and other refreshments will be provided at the event. The Boys & Girls Club is a group that seeks to inspire and enable all young people so that they can reach their fullest potential. Their family friendly Day for Kids is geared towards encouraging parents to bring their kids out to the park in order to have fun as a family. “We do this every year, and every year we have a good time,” said Robert Krei, the branch director for Cove’s Boys & Girls Club. “It’s our way to encourage parents to spend time with their kids in the park.”
