Suspect in 7-Eleven robbery arrested in Arizona
By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press Dillon Joshua Dorsey, 28, was booked into the Coryell County jail on Tuesday morning on charges oftheft of a firearm and theft over $1,500 but under $20,000. Coryell County District Attorney said the charges came after Dorsey allegedly stole a “friend’s” vehicle and in the process, also stole a gun. Sgt. Martin Ruiz with the Copperas Cove Police Department said Dorsey was arrested in Maricopa County, Arizona. Dorsey was then transported back to Texas. Dorsey was also beingsought by the Copperas Cove Police Department after the March 19 robbery of the 7-Eleven on West Avenue B.He remains in the Coryell County jail on bond, which according to the jail roster is $12,000. Ruiz said detectives from the department plan to speak with Dorsey about the robbery.
