First of three STAAR camps kick off

The fifth graders at Halstead Elementary School had the chance to hone their math skills Saturday morning at the first of three STAAR camps led by their teachers, Nicole Green, Christopher Owusu and Sara Wiger. Green, the fifth grade lead teacher, said she came up with the idea for the series of Saturday STAAR camps.
