The first of three transportation projects around Cove opens.

Amid windy weather and sunshine, a project that had been years in the making was completed and opened to the public Thursday afternoon. The city held a ribbon cutting for State Highway 9, one of three road projects that have been underway. Several representatives of both Copperas Cove and the greater Central Texas community participated in the ribbon cutting.
