Robots rule at Fairview/Miss Jewell Elementary

Cove Leader-Press Around 80 elementary students and 30 Junior High School students from all the CCISD schools gathered on Saturday morning at Fairview/Miss Jewell Elementary School for the 5th annual build a robot competition finals. The program that was originally funded by the Department of Defense Education grant program has since become self-sustaining and funded now by the CCISD. Malachi Meeks, a 6th grader, was busy building his NXT robot and said he was having a really great time.
