After hot Tiger start, Cove overwhelms Belton 59-40

The Belton Tigers boys had a tough task on Friday night at Tiger Gym, as they took on the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. Armed with one of the area’s top players, power forward and Oklahoma commit Rashard Odomes, Cove rolled into town looking for a critical win in District 12-6A. Belton battled hard and led by eight points early. Cove turned the game around with a 17-2 second quarter and dropped the Tigers by 19 points at the end, 59-40.
