Ukuleles popular with elementary students

Some little girls may have put dolls and little boys put toy cars at the top of their Christmas lists. But, some Clements- Parsons Elementary students had ukuleles as their most wanted item from Santa this year. Teacher Wilford Elmore spoke to the school’s principal last year about starting a ukulele club and campus-based funds were used to buy 20 ukuleles for the students to begin to learn to play the instruments.
