Board Oks S.C. Lee’s HVAC bids

At a special meeting Thursday night, the Copperas Cove Independent School District board of trustees gave the district’s administration the goahead to put out the word for bids for the HVAC system replacement at S.C. Lee Junior High. The school’s HVAC system is nearly 20 years old, and is a hybrid system with two rooftop boilers as well as split systems for the band hall, gymnasium and cafeteria. The control system is outdated and has been patched over the years and needs to be replaced.
