Bark For Life draws dozens of canines

Aggie, a nearly one year old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix, sported the maroon and white colors of Texas A&M, along with a coordinating tutu, at Saturday’s first Bark For Life, held at South Park. She and her fellow dog-friend Bo, an Australian shepherd, along with their owners, Uli Pickens and Ken Marshall, joined other canines and humans at the event to walk and raise money for the American Cancer Society. “We did the Bark for Life in Lampasas,” Pickens said. She and Marshall walked in memory of his brother who battled cancer. David and Gloria Faucher brought their two chihuahas, Wolfie and Layla, to participate.
