CCHS Special Ed students travel for dance

Kyleigh Courtland swayed back and forth on the dance floor with Johnathan Rodgers. Her left hand laid gently on his shoulder while her right hand clasped his left. The two Special Education students from Copperas Cove High School grooved and moved to the music at dance designed with them in mind. Special Education students from across the region attended the Fall Festival Dance at Lampasas High School on Thursday. The Fall Festival is an annual retreat for special needs students within Central Texas that allows for social interaction of students from different school districts to experience a social setting outside of the normal academic setting.
