Special to Leader-Press
The Texas Department of Transportation — Waco District will begin pavement repair operations on portions of the U.S. 190 bypass south of Copperas Cove beginning Monday, Nov. 1, weather permitting.
This routine maintenance work will repair pavement sections along I-14 from the Business 190 split, east of Copperas Cove, to the intersection of the U.S. 190 bypass and F.M. 116, southwest of the city.
Operations will run daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for next two weeks, weather permitting.
To safely perform this operation, crews will conduct various lane closures during the project. Additionally, the west U.S. 190 exit will be closed and drivers will be detoured to Business 190.
Note that schedules are dependent on weather, field conditions and work progress.
