School staff compete in chili cook-off

The aroma and spice of chili was in the air on Friday as the teachers and staff of Crossroads High school and the DAEP went head-to-head in a chili cook-off for a good cause. The Avenue E campus has teamed up to raise funds for the Copperas Cove Relay For Life, an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. An invitation was extended to CCISD’s administration and staff who were able to have a chance to stop by the campus, make a donation and have some chili.
