The state comptroller’s office has released its sales tax revenue report on Wednesday, and the city of of Copperas Cove share will be slightly lower this month compared to last Marhc. The city’s sales tax rebate for March is $305,339.38 , which is down $1,242.38 , or 0.4 0 percent, from the $306,581.7 6 it received in March 2014, according to the monthly report released Wednesday. Sales tax revenue overall for the city in 2015 is up 3.7 4 percent at $1,063,661.11, compared to the $1,025,268.11 received by this time last year. Gatesville’s sales tax rebate amounts to $131,8 4 5.4 9 , up 0.55 percent from last year’s amount of $131,113.4 4 and overall up 5.17 percent from 2014. The total amount of sales tax rebates for March for Coryell County is $4 37 ,663.03, which is up down 0.16 percent from the 2014 amount of $4 38 ,39 5.68 . Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said state sales tax revenue in February was $2.4 6 billion, up 11.7 percent compared to February 2014. “This marks the 59th consecutive month of year-over-year growth — an encouraging sign that Texas’ diverse economic engine continues to drive spending growth in households and businesses all over the state,” Hegar said. Lampasas County is receiving a total of $127 ,07 1.01, up 3.9 9 percent from $122,186.59 , with sales tax rebates in thecounty up 3.9 6 percent for the year overall. empner is receiving 10,825.22 in sales tax rebates, up 18.29 percent from 9,151 received last year for the same month. empner is up 12.49 percent for 2015 compared to 2014. The rebate amount for the city of Lampasas is up 4.87 percent from March 2014, at .93 for March 2015 compared to last March’s ,504.48. Sales tax for Bell County totaled 3,913,724.93, up .44 percent from in March 2014. So far Bell County’s rebates are up 7.70 percent compared to 2014 for the year overall. illeen’s rebates amount to 1,584,928.95, up 11.08 percent from last March at 1,42,773.09 and up 8.90 percent overall for 2014. Harer Heights saw an increase of 8.40 percent with rebates totaling ,522.08, up from last March’s amount of 411,891.8. For 2015, Harer Heights’ rebate totals are up 10.24 percent. Belton received 343,704.77 in sales tax rebates, up .1 percent from the 322,37.98 the city received for March 2014. Belton is up 9.04 percent overall in 2015. The state of Texas is issuing 381,531,250.57 in city sales tax rebates for March, up .08 percent compared to the 359,53,505.91 it issued for March 2014. City sales tax rebates across the state are overall increased 7.32 percent for the year.
