Shay Adams, assistant principal of Copperas Cove High School, was a good sport as he was duct taped on Friday afternoon as a fundraiser for Project Graduation, an annual event to give graduating seniors an alternative party atmosphere that is safe and alcohol free.
According to Katrina Clemons, who is the organizer for this event and a parent volunteer for Project Graduation, she said they received approval for this event and sold tickets for past several weeks.
For the last few days of the fundraiser, Adams was the principal who ended up with the most tickets sold in his favor, thanks in part to his students and others who felt that he should be the lucky principal to get duct taped for a worthy cause.
