Walmart opens pilot program in Copperas Cove location

Citizens of Copperas Cove now have a new reason for a trip to Wal-Mart as the corporate executives, employeesand community leaders cut the ribbon officially opening the pilot program Care Clinic inside the store. The clinic is accessible from theoutside of the building or through the entrance located within the store with Nurse Practitioners ready to accept walk-in and appointments for wellness and preventive care, acute care, management of chronic conditions, referrals to specialists, immunizations and lab testing at a cost of $40 per visit for non associates and $4 for Wal-Mart associates.
