Cosme Agustin Urbina, 26, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with two counts of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the Feb. 27 crash that killed Michael Shawn Richard and Lisa Gayle Richard. The couple owned the Twisted Wrench nightclub in Harker Heights and were on their way home after closing the club when their motorcycle was involved in a crash with a 2001 Acura and a 2013 Honda Pilot. The wreck occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on the Highway 190 bypass.
Michael Richard was pronounced dead at the scene and Lisa Richard died later at Scott & White Hospital.
Urbina was driving the Acura and was not injured, but reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of .186, more than twice the legal limit.
He is currently being held in the Coryell County jail on a $200,000 bond.
