Local teachers, artists exhibit work in Killeen Civic Center

The walls of the lobby of the Killeen Civic and Conference Center are now graced with the artwork from two local artists, one of them a CCISD art teacher, the other a longtime Covite and art teacher for Lampasas ISD. Linda Lapierre spent time eyeballing the gallery style wire hangers and measuring the length of the hooks before getting Sheri Wilson’s assistance to hang her massive painting, a 55- by 41- inch acrylic painting of a checkered white butterfly titled “Older and Wiser.”
