Groomer hosts pet adoption event Saturday

Dogs wiggled with excitement at the prospect of finding a new family at the pet adoption event held at Bluebonnet Pet Spa/Brandi’s Grooming.

 

Lend-A-Heart Ranch & Rescue teamed up with Brandi’s Grooming to host the adoption event Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event only had dogs and puppies for adoption, but the group also rescues cats, horses, birds, and even some pigs.

 

“It’s just to get awareness, and to get the animals out in the public so people can see them,” said Stacy Berry, the founder of Lend-A-Heart Ranch & Rescue. “There’s a need. There’s a lot of good animals that just sit in shelters and people aren’t even aware of them.”
