The construction project for the new Burger King restaurant in Copperas Cove is nearly completed with company reps saying the re-opening date is set for Monday, February 19.
“The team is strong and has been training in other locations for the last few weeks, so we’re confident they will be ready to wow our guests upon opening,” said Matthew Bars, director of operations for Ampler Burgers, LLC. “We’re currently fully staffed at 40 team members but are always looking for motivated individuals. Anyone interested in starting a career with us can apply at www.work4bk.com. We’re very happy that a large percentage of staff are veterans that worked at the previous location and have stayed with us through this major overhaul.”
The new restaurant is 2,800 square feet, and will be open seven days a week, from 5:30 a.m. until midnight Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Following the soft reopening, Ampler Burgers, LLC representatives will also join the community in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28. During the grand opening celebration, there will be music, activities, giveaways while supplies last, and entertainment.
“Ampler Burgers, LLC is proud to be part of the BK legacy in Copperas Cove, Texas,” said Kevin Fernandez, President & CEO, “We look forward to serving our guests their favorite flame-broiled BK® products for decades to come.”
The former building was demolished last fall to make way for the new construction.
Ampler Burgers also has multiple new restaurants scheduled to open in the next couple of years in the area, including remodels, said Nick Boyle, vice president of development for Ampler Burgers. The company operates 43 restaurants in Texas and New Mexico, with franchisee headquarters in Illinois.
