County Republican Party to hold fish fry fundraiser

The Coryell County Republican Party is holding its annual fish fry fundraiser on Saturday, September 5 at 6 p.m. at the Gatesville Civic Center.

The meal will include either fish or barbecue from J&M BBQ, and there will also be a silent auction fundraiser.

This year, the event will feature speakers who currently hold office in the county or who have announced their intentions to run for office.

These candidates include those running for Coryell County Sheriff, along with candidates running for places on the county commissioners court. There will be a time for those attending the dinner to hear from each of the candidates.

Tickets are $35 per guest, or $50 for two guests. Sponsorships are still available as well.

After November 14, the party plans to hold forums for contested races, and the forums will be held in both Copperas Cove and Gatesville.
