County native tosses hat into ring for sheriff’s race

By LYNETTE SOWELL Cove Leader-Press For Clayton Williams,having a decades-long career in law enforcement and public safety is a family tradition, and something Williams would like to continue as he runs for the Sheriff’s  osition of Coryell County on the Republican Party ticket. With the March primary still months away, Williams has already publicized his intentions to run for office. Williams is currently a police officer with the city of Waco, but has always maintained closed ties to the Gatesville community,along with the county he has  alled home for his entire life.
