Council to hold first meeting of month

The Copperas Cove City Council will have a heavy agenda as they gather for the first meeting of the month tonight in Council Chambers at the Economic Development Corporation board room starting at 5 p.m. with a workshop followed by their regular meeting. City Manager Andrea Gardner will award employee service awards to five employees of the city for their years of service. Celebrating five years are Christina Dmytrus, a Police Corporal, and Charles Quarles Jr., a patrol officer. Two employees celebrating 10 years of service are Carol Ballesteros, a Firefighter II/Paramedic, and Franklin Lagunero, a solid waste heavy equipment operator. Both will be honored during the workshop.
