A Copperas Cove teenager has been missing since the evening of Tuesday, November 30 or the early morning of December 1 and is suspected of running away.
Drym Daniels, 14, is African-American, with brown eyes and brown hair. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 198 pounds, and is a student at S.C. Lee Junior High School.
She was last seen at her home in Copperas Cove on the evening of November 30, and she was gone when her mother, Gabryelle Daniels, woke up the next morning, on December 1.
“She is a straight-A student, probably having some emotional distress issues where she felt she had to run instead of confiding in me,” Gabryell said. “I just want to let her know that she is loved, and I want her home, safe, where she deserves to be.”
A report has been filed with the Copperas Cove Police Department, and Det. Schaefer is charge of her case.
Gabryelle said she does not believe her daughter was kidnapped, but that she ran away.
“We’re not sure if someone picked her up or if she walked somewhere, or what have you,” Gabryelle said.
The Daniels have family in Nevada, so it is possible that Drym might travel to Nevada, and she reportedly has “checked in” in Las Vegas on Snapchat, but Gabryelle said she thinks Drym is possibly in Killeen currently.
If anyone has any information regarding the location of Drym Daniels, they are asked to call either 9-1-1, or the Copperas Cove Police Department at 254-547-8222 or call the Missing and Exploited Children line at 1-800-THE-LOST or 1-800-843-5678.
