Copperas Cove couple arrested in county narcotics sting

Ethan Starr St. Cricq and Jennifer Alicia St. Cricq of Copperas Cove were arrested in the early morning hours Tuesday morning at their residence in the 1300 block of Dryden Avenue.
The husband and wife were in the Coryell County Jail as of Thursday morning, with Ethan St. Cricq held on bonds totaling $195,000 and Alicia St. Cricq held on bonds totaling $160,000.
They face multiple drug charges to include counts of manufacture/delivery of controlled substances and charges of delivery of marijuana.  
At 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, members of the Coryell Narcotics Unit, Coryell County SWAT Team, the Bell County Organized Crime Unit, and officers with the Copperas Cove Police Department, executed a “knock and announce” search warrant. 
The two were the subject of an investigation that, according to arrest records provided by the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office, commenced on Dec. 16 of this year when a confidential informant contacted the Coryell County Narcotics Unit, telling them that Ethan was willing to sell them ¼-ounce of methamphetamine and an ounce of marijuana for $320. 
Investigators then set up at a location near the Dryden Avenue residence and obtained audio and video recording, during which Ethan sold the informant both the methamphetamine and marijuana, with Jennifer assisting in the transaction.
The informant told investigators that he had never purchased from Ethan before and did not know him, but knew through mutual friends that Ethan sold narcotics. 
Then, another transaction followed, with the cooperation of a confidential informant who contacted the Narcotics Unit on Dec. 18. This informant paid a visit to the St. Cricqs in their home for another transaction, for a ball of methamphetamine and ½-ournce of marijuana, for $200. Audio and video of that transaction was obtained as well. According to the arrest documents, Ethan could be heard telling the information that he was going to Georgetown that evening to “re-up.”
After both transactions, the county’s narcotics unit obtained field tests of the substances, which were verified to be methamphetamine. The transactions netted 7 grams of the methamphetamine and 0.99 ounce of marijuana, as well as 8.2 grams of methamphetamine and 0.92 ounce of marijuana, all with packaging. 
On morning of the knock and announce warrant, officers obtained 13 zip-lock bags containing a total of 66 grams of methamphetamine, three baggies of Psilocybin mushrooms totaling 49.4 grams, five 1-mg tablets of clonazepam, 28 pills of alprazolam.
