Comptroller releases biennial estimate

Right before Texas legislators opened the newest legislative session in Austin on Tuesday, comptroller Glenn Hegar re-leased the state’s biennial revenue estimate on Monday.The state is projected to have approxi-mately $113 billion in revenue for general-purpose spending during the 2016-2017 biennium.
