Kempner VFW helps raise $30,000 for one of their own.

The Kempner VFW Post 3393 Ladies Auxiliary held a full day of family friendly events and auctions Saturday with the proceeds raised helping to offset medical costs for Ladies Auxiliary life member Becky Hammack who is battling stage 4 cancer. The all-day event featured a live auction, 80-mile bike ride, cake auction, silent auction, head shaving, live bands Rare Dog and Back Creek, a balloon pop, children’s games such as ring tosses and face painting, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
