The City of Copperas Cove is taking the first steps in a sidewalk improvement program, intended to make the city safer for pedestrians. At tonight’s city council workshop, James Mullen, the city’s superintendent of streets and drainage, will be presenting the council with a sidewalk prioritization policy. “The program will include new construction of missing sidewalks only,” said Kevin Keller, the city’s public information officer.
