City library hosts Rally Day Festival

Cove Leader-Press The Public Library invited the community out for a day of fun and activities. The Copperas Cove Public Library and Friends of the Library hosted a Rally Day Festival Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event helped raise money to help the library fund book purchases. The event included a bounce house, book sales, fire and military truck displays, snacks and refreshments, face painting, a mural painting and entertainment.

Entertainment was provided by GymKix (a dance, gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading school), Self Defense America (a martial arts school), Society for Creative Anachronism (a medieval recreation group) and Double Cs square dancers.
